It's been a really rubbish time to be a teenager. At the start of the first Lockdown this Explorer started a scrap book, daily thoughts and snippets that captured the mood of the day; and it went on. One book filled, then another and another, until six volumes were packed, their stiff and crinkled pages marking the passage of event that has played havoc with both the mind and body.
It almost feels wrong to just display a few pages, to appreciate the full creative spirit. that has been poured into this work it really has to be viewed, as a whole. The items on display are from the latest volume, we feel the messages really are apt as hope begins to return.
Grade Art is an up and coming young artist and we have been privileged to watch his talents grow since he was in Cubs. This exhibition contains a small selection of his work. He draws much of his inspiration from books and films, focusing on a bold subject with a more muted background.
Grade Art is willing to take on small commissions. For safeguarding reasons we are unable to put you directly in contact with him but if you are interested we can act as intermediaries.
